Help and Support for Heart Conditions

A diagnosis of a chronic illness can be overwhelming: it brings new things to learn and requires adapting to a new situation for both the patient and their loved ones. The Heart Children and Adults Association provides information and support to ensure that no one has to face congenital heart defects or hereditary heart diseases alone.

Find Your Supporter

Are you someone with a congenital heart defect or a loved one of someone with a heart defect? Would you like to talk about your experiences with someone who has been through something similar? With a peer supporter, you can confidentially share your thoughts and feelings.

Often, someone who has experienced similar issues can best support the person with a heart defect or their loved one and help them cope with everyday life. Anyone can contact a peer supporter.
